Antropologia Pubblica (AP) is the Italian Society of Applied Anthropology’s (SIAA) peer-reviewed and open access journal. It encourages an open and articulate use of anthropological knowledge and practices on crucial issues related to the contemporary world. Enforcing rather than neglecting the ethnographic and historical-social depth that characterizes the discipline today, AP promotes an anthropology capable of influencing decisions and public policies. The adjective "public" fully underlines this commitment to the community expressed in AP's editorial line and in the variety of its columns, starting from a careful selection of the topics addressed and the ways to deal with them.

Since 2018, AP has been ranked as a “Class A” journal for academic section 11/SDEA-01 by ANVUR (Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes).
