Abstract
The European crisis of 2009-2010 could actualize the concept of authoritarian liberalism formulated by Hermann Heller in 1932. In the following work it has been firstly analysed this concept and its role among the forms of contemporary liberalism; subsequently we focused on the possibility that the concept of authoritarian liberalism could also be useful for describing the risks raised by the european responses to the Eurozone crisis.
