Abstract
This essay focuses on the importance of considering not only the element of spatiality but also temporality, when addressing the issue of how a determined depiction of “the human” is constantly implied in all imaginable theories of justice. In what follows such a perspective is brought to the fore by discussing the theme of intergenerational responsibility and the predicaments it implies for all politico-legal thinking.
