Abstract
Throughout the 20th century, the idea of progress derived from the great Enlightenment tradition sustained severe blows, that led to a nihilistic drift on one hand, while on the other to the establishment of a constitutional state as an antidote. In light of this past, the nearly unlimited trust in the thaumaturgic power of technosciences and the Post-human seems unjustified.
