Abstract

I am going to treat semiology in an instrumental mode, to make it a resource, a bit like at the beginning of the ANT: can it help to slide the analysis of taste from a theory of action to a attention to the emergence of things? More specifically, the idea is to start from the same ways of expressing taste, both on the part of amateurs and social scientists, and thus to emphasize the performative role of language.
