In particolare, dalla riconosciuta sintesi fra algardismo e berninismo che connotò il linguaggio plastico di Ferrata, si proporranno alcuni confronti, mirati, atti a restituire l’alveo culturale e i rimandi estetici entro i quali le suddette sculture in legno si collocano.</p> <p>In the paper, starting from the analysis of a group of wooden statues sculpted by Ercole Ferrata’s atelier and now preserved in the Museo d’Arte Sacra of Scaria d’Intelvi, the artist’s role is discussed considering the context of the wider reception debate related to the Roman baroque stylistic features, their transmission to members of the multiform workshop and the will that they spread and sediment the magisterium in their native land. In particular, of the recognized synthesis between Algardism and Berninism that characterized the plastic language of Ferrata, some selected comparisons are proposed to return the cultural framework and aesthetic references within which these wooden sculptures are placed.</p&gt;}, journal={Gli Artisti dei Laghi}, author={Demeo, Alessandra and Giometti, Cristiano}, year={2021}, month={Oct.}, pages={85-111} }
